Rafael Benitez wants Real Madrid to re-sign Arsenal’s star man Mesut Ozil according to the SporX.

The Turkish sports website states that the experienced coach wants the Germany international back in order to being the best out of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ozil joined Arsenal for a club record £42 million back in September 2013 from Real Madrid after the La Liga giants signed Gareth Bale.

The 27-year-old has been in scintillating form this season and has won back-to-back Vitality Arsenal Play of the Month awards over the last two months. Ozil has played a key role in the north London based side reaching the Champions League Last 16 for the 15th consecutive season.

Arsenal take on Manchester City next Monday in a critical league encounter which could see the Gunners go top. Ozil has won back-to-back FA Cups since joining Arsenal from Real Madrid.
