The Black Eagles were reported to be in the market for a new goalkeeper following high profile mistakes from their current number one, Tolga Zengin.

The Black Eagles are currently playing their third choice keeper Günay Güvenç in goal following injuries to Zengin and Cenk Gönen.

Zengin sustained a muscle tear injury during the Istanbul derby against Fenerbahçe three weeks ago.

Second-choice keeper Gönen has also been ruled out with injury for three weeks after picking up an injury in training.

Güvenç starred in the 5-1 win over Kasımpaşa on the weekend and could feature until the end of the season.

Beşiktaş are currently second in the Süper Lig, just one point behind league leaders Fenerbahçe.

The Eagles will take on relegation strugglers Karabükspor next.
