Besiktas begin negotiations with Senol Gunes

Besiktas have started negotiations with the former Bursaspor manager Senol Gunes as they look to replace Slaven Bilic.

The former Croatian national team manager has resigned from his position as Beşiktaş head coach.

Gunes’ contract with Bursaspor expired this week and the experienced coach confirmed that he would not be signing an extension.

Eurosport TR have stated that Besiktas President Fikret Orman will meet with Gunes to discuss terms.

Güneş guided Bursaspor to a sixth placed finish and the Turkish Cup final which will be played against Süper Lig champions Galatasaray.
