Besiktas lift Turkish League title for 15th time and win right to wear coveted third star
Defending Turkish league champions Besiktas clinched the title for the 15th time after beating Gaziantepspor 4-0 away in the penultimate week of the 2016-17 season.
Vincent Aboubakar, Oguzhan Ozyakup scored while Anderson Talisca bagged a brace to secure the victory.

The Black Eagles earned the right to wear a converted third star on their jersey.
Besiktas have become the third Super Lig club after Galatasaray and Fenerbahce to earn the right to wear a third star.
Fans of Besiktas partied until the early hours of the morning after winning the title.

Head coach Senol Gunes has been in charge of the Istanbul giants over the past two seasons and also won his second league title as a manager.
Gunes has transformed Besiktas since replacing current West Ham manager Slaven Bilic.
The former Turkish national team manager has focused on building a side renowned for playing flamboyant attacking based football.
Gunes transformed Cenk Tosun from being a third-choice striker into one of the most prolific goal scorers in the league having netted 22 times.
Summer signing Vincent Aboubakar scored 18 goals, Anderson Talisca found the back of the net 17 times. Besiktas have already scored 69 times this season, their nearest rivals Basaksehir have just seven fewer.
Gunes is expected to sign a two-year contract extension and lead the Black Eagles into the 2017-18 season having secured a Champions League group stage spot for the second season running.
