Palace missed out on signing Tosun by a week over the summer and ended up having a bid rejected.

Tosun scored 24 goals in all competitions last season including the Champions League goal of the group stage for his volley in the 3-3 draw against Benfica.

The Turkish international scored a brace for his country over the recent international break and picked up the Champions League goal of the week award for his long-range finish in the 3-1 away win over Porto.
