Beşiktaş could face Liverpool, Roma, Celtic in the Europa League Round of 32 [divider]
Beşiktaş could face any of the Europa League sides that finished their group in second place or the four worst third-placed sides from the Champions League group stages.
The Black Eagles could face a tough test against the likes of Liverpool, Roma, Celtic and last seasons champions Sevilla.
Beşiktaş would draw English opposition for the third time were they to face Liverpool in the next round.
The Black Eagles faced Arsenal in the Champions League playoffs which they lost 1-0 on aggregate and Tottenham in the Europa League Group stages. Beşiktaş drew against Tottenham in London and beat them in Istanbul.
The UEFA rules state:
“In the last 32, group winners and the four third-placed sides from the UEFA Champions League with the best records are seeded, guaranteeing they will play the second leg at home. Teams from the same group or the same association cannot be drawn together. From the round of 16 onwards, the draw is free.”
