Besiktas defender Ersan Gulum signs four-year contract extension [divider]

Beşiktaş defender Ersan Gülüm has signed a four-year contract extension, the club revealed on their official website.

The Black Eagles released a statement on the stock exchange confirming the financial details of the deal.

The statement read: “Ersan Gülüm has extended his contract at Beşiktaş.”

Gülüm will make the following over the course of the next four seasons:

2015-2016 season: €1,200,000 + €10,000 per match bonus

2016-2017 season: €1,300,000 + €10,000 per match bonus

2017-2018 season: €1,400,000 + €10,000 per match bonus

2018-2019 season: €1,500,000 + €10,000 per match bonus

Gülüm was free to talk directly with other clubs as his contract was set to run out at the end of the season however, the Turkish international has pledged his future to the Black Eagles.

The Melbourne born defender previously played under Trabzonspor manger Ersun Yanal at Manisaspor.

Yanal brought Gülüm to Turkey from Hume City FC in July 2006.

Gulum has made 21 appearances for Beşiktaş this season in all competitions.

The Australian born Turkish international has six caps for the Crescent-Stars.
