Fotomac claim that the Black Eagles want the 26-year-old defender on a loan move.
Per the source, Valencia are also in the race to extend his temporary stay.
The report states that Valencia had initially attempted to sign the centre-back but that they were unable to match his £17m [€20m] price tag.

Besiktas are not keen on investing £17 million in Mangala either so a loan race could be on the cards this summer.
