Besiktas holding out for £12m for West Ham target

Gokhan Tore

Besiktas are holding out for a substantial bid for Gokhan Tore if they are to allow their star man to leave this summer.

According to SkySports, West Ham United haven’t given up in their pursuit for Tore despite having a bid rejected late last month.

Turkish-Football.com can reveal that Besiktas will only let Tore go if they recieve a bid in the region of £12 million.

The Turkish international does have Premier League experience having risen through the ranks at Chelsea before his move to HSV and then Rubin Kazan before joining Besiktas.

The 24-year-old established himself as one of the most highly sought after players in the league under the stewardship of Slaven Bilic who coached Besiktas for two seasons before taking over at West Ham last summer.

Tore provided nine assists and scored six goals in 35 appearances for Besiktas in all competitions last season.
