Beşiktaş goalkeeper Cenk Gönen has signed a four-year contract extension, the club revealed.

The Turkish giants released a statement on the stock exchange confirming the deal and the financial details.

The statement read: “Cenk Gönen has extended his contract at Beşiktaş.”

Gönen will make the following over the course of the next four seasons:

2015-2016 season: €900,000 + €10,000 per match bonus

2016-2017 season: €900,000 + €10,000 per match bonus

2017-2018 season: €900,000 + €10,000 per match bonus

2018-2019 season: €900,000 + €10,000 per match bonus

Gönen joined Beşiktaş from Denizlispor in 2010 and has made 83 appearances for the Black Eagles.

The 26-year-old keeper is second choice keeper to Turkish international Tolga Zengin.

Gönen has made seven appearances for the Black Eagles in all competitions this season and enjoyed a run of six consecutive games while Zengin was out injured in December.

The Beşiktaş keeper made his international debut on 24 May 2012 and has two caps for the Turkish national team.
