Besiktas’ new transfer Alexander Milosevic has arrived in Istanbul this morning.

The Swedish international will undergo several fitness tests before joining the rest of the Eagles squad at the Nevzat Demir training facility at 16:00 (GMT) tomorrow.

Beşiktaş defender Alex Milosevic recetnly revealed that he was in talks with Anderlecht, Olympiakos and Lazio but he opted to join the Black Eagles instead.

“Anderlecht also entered talks while we was in negotiations with Beşiktaş,” Milosevic told Fanatik.

“My agent Nenad Lukic was also in talks with Olympiakos and Lazio also came in with a late offer.

“However, I had made my mind up, if I had joined Anderlecht it would have been a stepping stone but here in Beşiktaş I can really make a name for myself and even play for the rest of my career, it is a huge club.”

The Swedish international signed a 3.5 year deal with the Black Eagles on a €1 million move from AIK Stockholm.

Milosevic provided two assists and scored three goals in 28 appearances for AIK Stockholm this season.
