Besiktas have ‘no interest’ in Borussia Dortmund wonder-kid, says club president

Besiktas have been closely linked with a loan move for Borrussia Dortmund wonder-kid Emre Mor according to club president Fikret Orman.

Orman completely denied interest in Mor and underlined that the club has no intention of signing the 19-year-old

“We are not a club teams send players to in order to gain experience, we have held no talks, we are not interested and have no desire to sign him,” Orman was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.

The reigning Turkish league champions were closely linked with Mor prior to him joining Dortmund on a five-year deal over the summer transfer window.

Mor has struggled for playing time this season and has been linked with a loan move to gain regular playing time and develop.

Besiktas’ Istanbul rivals Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are also linked with Mor.

The young winger scored his first international goal for Turkey in the 3-1 victory over Moldova in an international friendly on Monday 27 March.

Mor has a total of one goal and three assists in 11 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga giants.

Besiktas are the reigning Turkish league champions and are favourites to defend the title this season.
