Besiktas not looking to sign a striker in January

Besiktas will not sign a new striker in the January transfer window according to club press officer Metin Albayrak.
Albayrak spoke with the Turkish newspaper Milliyet regarding transfer rumours.
“We are not thinking about signing a striker in January as the club already has three strikers,” Albayrak said.
“Demba Ba and Mustafa may be injured but we still have Cenk Tosun.
“We have a versatile squad which can cope with these injuries.”
Demba Ba will be out for approximately three weeks with a broken toe while Mustafa Pektemek will be out for the foreseeable future due to a facial injury.
Tosun has scored four goals in 13 appearances for Besiktas this season.
