Beşiktaş have offered Liverpool right-back Glen Johnson a deal worth €2.3 million per-season according to HaberTürk.
The report claims that the Black Eagles have been in with the former England international and that Johnson initially wanted €3 million per-season.
The Istanbul giants are reported to have negotiated a two-year deal for the 30-year-old who is available on a free contract.
Johnson has also been linked with a move to the Black Eagles Istanbul rivals Galatasaray according to the Daily Star.
Liverpool have not renewed Johnson’s contract and Beşiktaş could snap him up as a free agent if they were to reach an agreement with Johnson.
The 30-year-old fullback joined Liverpool from Portsmouth for £10 million in 2009 and has made 200 appearances for the Reds.
Beşiktaş finished the league season in third place and will play in the Europa League next season.
The Istanbul giants knocked Liverpool out of the Europa League Round of 32 on penalties under Slaven Bilic last season.
