Beşiktaş are considering a loan move for Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah according to the Independent.

Black Eagles president Fikret Orman confirmed that the club were working with Chelsea to strengthen their squad in January.

“Ron Gourlay was a good friend of ours,” Orman was quoted as saying in the Independent.

“We have a very good relationship with them. Will we do business with them in January? Why not?”

Salah has started just three games in all competitions for the Blues this season.

Spartak Moscow manager Murat Yakin has also admitted he wants to sign Salah.

“I want to sign both Salah and Fabian Frei. I know both players well,” Yakın was quoted as saying by the Daily Star.

Salah was expected to move to Russia but the financial crash has made Turkey a more lucrative destination.
