Senol Gunes joins the likes of Chelsea boss & Tottenham’s Pochettino in the UEFA Champions League best coaches XI
Besiktas manager Senol Gunes is one of the most highly respected Turkish coaches in the business.
Gunes also had an illustrious career as a player.
The Trabzonspor legend was a goalkeeper for the Black Sea based outfit during their golden era lifting six Super Lig titles between 1975-83.
Gunes also won three Turkish Cup titles and six Turkish Super Cup trophies.
The former Turkish national team manager stayed loyal to Trabzonspor throughout his career and set the Super Lig clean sheet record for not conceding a single goal for 1,110 minutes.
Gunes was selected by UEFA in the Champions League best coaches XI side.
The team was shared on the official Champions League twitter page and features an impressive list of players including Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino in defence and Real Madrid head coach Zidane playing as a No 10.
