Besiktas have struck a deal with Leicester City to sign Gokhan Inler according to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik.

The report state that the Istanbul giants are set to sign the Switzerland international on a season-long loan deal.

Inler has been left out of the Leicester City side for their opening three games of the Premier League campaign.

The experienced midfielder was also left out of the US pre-season summer tour and was not used in the friendly games.
Inler joined the Foxes last summer amid high expectations from Serie A giants Napoli but struggled for playing time and was used sparingly. As a result of his limited playing time the 32-year-old was also dropped from the Swiss national side going into Euro 2016.
The former Napoli star was expected to gain more playing time after the sale of Kante to Chelsea this summer but it appears head coach Claudio Ranieri is unlikely to give him a major role in the team this season.
