Besiktas striker Mustafa Pektemek set to return from injury
Besiktas striker Mustafa Pektemek is set to return to first team football after recovering from a facial injury which has kept him out for two months.
The 26-year-old has been included in the squad to face Kayserispor in the Turkish Cup and may be included in Slaven Bilic’s starting line-up.
Besiktas take on Kayserisor in the Ziraat Turkish Cup on Wednesday 11 February,
Pektemek suffered fractures to his face following a collision with Essiad Belkalem in Besiktas’s victory over Trabzonspor in December.
The Beşiktaş striker recently signed a four-year contract extension keeping him at the club until July 2019.
Pektemek joined the Black Eagles on a £3.2 million move from Gençlerbirliği in 2011.
The Turkish international has 16 goals and eights assists in 89 appearances for Beşiktaş.
