Besiktas target Daniel Opare expected in Istanbul tomorrow

Besiktas transfer target Daniel Tawiah Opare is expected to arrive in Istanbul tomorrow. The Ghana international will undergo a medical examination by Besiktas and put pen to paper on a contract sealing his move to the Super League club according to LigTV.

Financial detail of the deal between Besiktas and Porto are yet to be disclosed. The deal is believed to be a six month loan deal with the option to buy at the end of the season.

Sporting’s Junior Caiçara, Dinamo Zagreb’s Ivo Pinto, Cruzeiro’s Mayke and Udinese’s Cameroon international Nyom, Martin Linnes and Maxi Pereira have all been linked with the Istanbul based side over recent weeks.

The Black Eagles have played much of the season without a right-back due to injuries and a lack of depth.

Midfielders Necip Uysal and Atiba Hutchinson have had to fill in as make shift right-backs from time to time this season.

The 24-year-old has 16 Ghana international caps. Opare has made just two appearances for Porto’s reserve side this season.
