Besiktas have set their sights on Southampton’s in-form striker Graziano Pelle as a potential replacement for Mario Gomez.

The Turkish outlet DHA has reported that Pelle has been added to Besiktas’ transfer shortlist. Pelle scored during Italy’s 2-0 win over Belgium in their opening game of Euro 2016.

Besiktas have also add Roma’s Bosnia international Edin Dzeko to their list of potential targets if Gomez departs over the summer.

Gomez has been linked with a move away from Besiktas following an impressive 12 months with the Black Eagles.

The Germany international managed to work his way back into the Germany national team after a brilliant season and has attracted the interest of Manchester United. The Red Devil’s have expressed an interest in the striker according to Telegraph and FoxSport last month.

Gomez scored 28 goals this season season, breaking last seasons record set by Demba Ba.

The experinced striker was an unused substitute during Germany’s 2-0 victory over Ukraine in Euro 2016.
