Besiktas will offer Fiorentina’s striker Mario Gomez a €4 million per-season deal win a bid to prise him away from the Serie A side.
NTVspor state that the Black Eagles are in talks with the Germany international and that Fiorentina are willing to sell the player for €6 million. Besiktas are expected to attempt to negotiate a lower transfer fee for the 30-year-old.
Sky Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio also confirmed that the Istanbul based club are in talks with the Germany international.

Besiktas sold Demba Ba to Shanghai Shenhua for €14 million last month and are in the market for a replacement striker.
Gomez has a grand total of 166 goals in 308 appearances in all competitions throughout his professional career.
Besiktas will compete in the Europa League this season after finishing the Turkish Super Lig in third place behind Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.
