Besiktas want €30m for West Ham target

Besiktas want €30 million for star midfielder Gokhan Tore according to club vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi.

Cebi said: “If they give €30 million we would have to think about it, we have to think about business as well.”

The Black Eagles are still under investigation from UEFA for Financial Fair Play and have to continue with a club policy geared towards selling key players.

Besiktas made £8.96 million profit thanks to the influx of Chinese money for Demba Ba and the sale of Atınç Nukan to German big spenders Leipzig.

West Ham have been closely linked with with Gokhan Tore and head coach Slaven Bilic has openly stated that he wants the fiery winger next season.

Speaking to Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik in a recent interview Bilic said: “Everyone knows how much I like Tore he is an excellent player and I want him at West Ham.”

Tore was one of the most highly sought after players in the league under the stewardship of Bilic who coached Besiktas for the past two seasons.

West Ham were also linked with the The former Chelsea youngster over the summer but talks stalled after Besiktas ruled out selling him.
