Beşiktaş will play with the sprit of Turkish warriors against Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 32 second-leg according to manager Slaven Bilic.

The Black Eagles lost the first leg 1-0 but Bilic revealed that he does not believe it was necessarily a bad result.

“I do not think 1-0 was really a bad score, it is a score we can turn around at home, we will be joined by 70,000 fans and will battle like Turkish warriors against Liverpool,” Bilic told Fanatik.

Bilic underlined that his side are well prepared for the game and fully aware of what needs to be done to win the tie.

“We are 100 percent prepared and motivated for this game, we will try to execute our game plan and try our best,” he added.

Beşiktaş did defeat Liverpool 2-1 the last time they faced the Reds on home soil in the 2007-08 Champions League group stages.

The Black Eagles have faced English opposition in Istanbul twice already this season. Beşiktaş held Arsenal to a goalless draw and beat Tottenham 1-0.

Beşiktaş are currently second in the Süper Lig just one point behind leaders Galatasaray.
