Bilic – ‘I really do not like losing’ [divider]
Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic revealed that he was unhappy with losing 1-0 against Rizespor in the Turkish Cup.
“Rizespor fought hard for their victory,” Bilic said.
“I do not like losing, we are very disappointed with the result.”
Bilic also underlined that he believed his side did not deserve to lose against Rizespor.
“I do not believe we deserved to lose, it was a low tempo game with chances few and far between, we got into a few goal scoring opportunities but squandered our chances.
“Two of our shots hit the post and on another day they would have gone in.
“We could have had a penalty and there were a number of other dubious decisions but I am not having a pop at the referee, he is inexperienced and hopefully this game will have helped him.
“We have to move on now, the next league game is of vital importance for us.”
Rizespor overtook Beşiktaş and moved into first place in Group F following the win.
The Black Eagles take on Akhisar next in the Süper Lig.
