Bilic – 'I take my hat off for Demba Ba'

Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic stated that he was delighted with Demba Ba’s contribution in the 2-0 win over Trabzonspor at the Avni Aker stadium.

“We showed a lot of character and team spirit tonight. Since converting your first chance off the bench is never easy, I take my hat off for Demba Ba,” Bilic told the official Beşiktaş website.

Bilic switched formation on 57 minutes bringing on Demba Ba for right-back Daniel Opare and changing to a 4-4-2 setup from a 4-2-3-1.

Gökhan Töre made a well timed pass across the penalty area that found Ba just one minute later.

The Senegalese international striker found the bottom corner with a powerful effort to open the scoring.
