Bilic – ‘In a title race you have to know how to win even when playing bad’ [divider]
Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic underlined that it important for a side to know how to win even when not playing well when in a title race.
The Black Eagles beat Sivasspor 1-0 at the 4 Eylül stadium but were criticised for their performance.
“The league is a marathon, it is about endurance, sometimes you do not play well but you have to know how to win in these situations,” Bilic told Fanatik.

Bilic also revealed that his side are starting to feel the strain of playing every game this season on the road.
“We moved into joint first place and yes our players were tired but this is normal considering almost every game has been on the road,” he added.
The Inönü stadium is currently being rebuilt and will be renamed the Vodafone Arena.
Beşiktaş have been forced to play home games in the Atatürk Olympic stadium as well as Konya and Ankara as a result.
The Black Eagles have the best away record in the league having won 10 out of their 12 games on the road.
