Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba has backed Slaven Bilic as being the right man for the next West Ham job.
Ba stated that Bilic has a German style of management and that his discipline will help the Hammers.
“He has that German mentality and in football that German mentality helps a lot because they are very disciplined and do things right in football and I think he does that,” Ba said speaking to Claret and Hugh at the Human Appeal Celebrity Gala Football dinner at the Marriott Hotel.
“If he comes here I think and I hope he is going to be successful.”
The former Croatian national team manager has failed to win any trophies at Beşiktaş but maintained an unbeaten record in Istanbul against English opposition in Europe this season..
The Black Eagles beat Tottenham as well as Liverpool in the Europa League while holding Arsenal to a goalless draw in the Champions League playoffs.
The 46-year-old is the bookmakers favourites to replace outgoing West Ham manager Sam Allardyce.
The Istanbul giants will finish the 2014-15 season in third place and Bilic has already confirmed that he will be leaving after the final game against Gençlerbirliği.
