Birmingham City hold key to £30m Tottenham midfielder transfer, talks with Super Lig giants ongoing

Birmingham City have been closely linked with Trabzonspor midfielder Ogneyi Ozazi in the Turkish press.

Fotomac claim that the Blues have struck a deal worth €4.5 million to sign the Super Lig giants.

Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik meanwhile, report that Birmingham could hold the keys for Trabzonspor to unlock the transfer of Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

Per the source, the transfer fee will be used to offer Spurs a loan fee and Onazi’s exit will free up the wage bill.

The Black Sea based outfit have made the 27-year-old a transfer priority. Head coach Ersun Yanal has given the board his blessing to push ahead with trying to complete the move.

Trabzonspor are willing to offer Sissoko a guarantee of first team football next season.

The France international is reported to be keen on the move but Trabzonspor.

Talks with Spurs are ongoing and Trabzonspor hope to complete the transfer as soon as possibly with the 2017-18 campaign getting underway over the weekend.
