Birmingham City transfer news: Redknapp frustrated as Nigeria international Ogenyi Onazi’s transfer stalls

Birmingham City manager Harry Redknapp is becoming increasingly frustrated regarding the transfer of Ogenyi Onazi from Trabzonspor.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Birmingham were set to sign the Nigeria international for €4.5 million. However, a work permit issue has held up the transfer.

According to SkySports, Onazi requires a work permit which will not be easy to secure. Per the source, Redknapp has become increasingly frustrated due to the situation.

Skysport’s go onto state that personal terms have been agreed with Onazi however, the player will remain in Turkey to train with Trabzonspor while Birmingham try and sort out the paperwork.
