Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo underlined that his side showed great character in being able to come back after Beşiktaş took the lead.

“Yes we showed character [to complete the comeback]. After conceding the goal, we knew it was not finished and we go for it. That’s why we keep it going during the game, I think the team did it well,” he added.

Beşiktaş blew a one goal lead in home and away against the Belgium giants.

Club Brugge remain unbeaten in European competition this season and became the first side to beat Beşiktaş in Istanbul.
