Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers praised Beşiktaş after the Europa League Round of 32 second-leg game at the Atatürk Olympic stadium according to Slaven Bilic.
The Black Eagles progressed to the Last 16 of the competition after eliminating Liverpool 5-4 on penalties.
“I went to the Liverpool changing room after my press conference and had a conversation with Brendan Rodgers, he said he was impressed with our performance and congratulated us,” Bilic was quoted as saying on Eurosport TR.
