Bruno Alves to return to Fenerbahce’s starting XI

Fenerbahce manager Ismail Kartal is expected to recall Bruno Alves to the starting line-up for this weekends Turkish Super League clash against Balıkesirspor.
The experienced defender has been left out of Fenerbahce’s team following the red card he received during the Intercontinental Derby against Galatasaray.
Alves made an appearance in the Turkish Cup this week against Kayserispor.
The Portuguese international has been linked with a move away from Turkey this January after falling out of favour with manager İsmail Kartal.
Alves had previously ruled out a move away from Fenerbahçe and underlined that he wants to remain at the club.
“I have a contract with Fenerbahçe and want to stay at the club,” Alves said speaking ahead of Portugal’s Euro 2016 qualification game against Armenia.
The powerful centre back has made seven appearances for Fenerbahce this season.
