Burak Yilmaz will miss Galatasaray’s clash with Istanbul Basaksehir this weekend.
The Turkish international is the Lions top goal score with 13 goals so far this season. Burak returned from injury to face Fenerbahce last weekend.
Hamza Hamzaoglu is expected to play Umut Bulut in Burak Yilmaz’s place. Umut has found the back of the net seven times this season.
The Lions will be looking to bounce back form their 1-0 defeat against their rivals Fenerbahce last weekends. Hamza Hamzaoglu’s side remain at the top of the table despite last weekends loss however, are on equal points as second placed Besiktas and are just one point ahead of Fenerbahce.
Galatasaray will be looking for revenge against Basaksehir who beat them 4-0 earlier on in the season.
Abdulla Avci’s side sit in 5th place with 39 points in 23 games.
Galatasaray are in pole position in the league with 51 points in 23 games.
