Bursaspor boss disappointed with pitch despite win [divider]
Bursaspor manager Şenol Güneş revealed that he was not satisfied with the state of the pitch at the Kamil Ocak stadium following his sides 2-1 win over Gaziantepspor.
“I would expect a city like Gaziantep to have a better pitch,” Güneş said.
“The playing surface was unacceptable, it does not help either side, it is difficult to play on a pitch like that.
“Sure if you are sitting back defending you may think you have an advantage but the ball can bounce unpredictably and you can find yourself in a sticky situation.
“Both sides really wanted to win this game, we both have young, dynamic sides.
“I want to congratulate my players, it was not easy playing here but we managed to win.
“I wish Gaziantepspor all the best for the future.”
Bursaspor moved into fifth place on 23 points following the win.
The Green Crocodiles face Akhisar next week at the Bursa Atatürk stadium.
