Bursaspor look to complete Josue transfer in March

Bursaspor are aiming to complete the transfer of Josue, who is currently on loan at the club from FC Porto, in March.

Josue has been one of the stars of Bursaspor’s season so far however, his loan deal is up at the end of the season.

Bursaspor President Recep Bölükbaşı spoke to reporters about Josue’s future at the club.

“We wont to sign Josue and Fernandao on permanent deals,” Bölükbaşı told the Turkish newspaper Milliyet.

“Negotiations are currently ongoing. We will travel to Portugal and Brazil in order to meet with both of their clubs.”

“I believe we will complete the signings of both Josue and Fernandao.”

The Portuguese midfielder rose through the Porto youth ranks before joining Paços Ferreira in 2011 and then returning to the Portuguese giants in 2013 on a four-year deal.

The 24-year-old has six goals and four assists in all competitions this season.

Bursaspor are currently in fifth place on 34 points after 21 games.

The Green Crocodiles have scored the highest number of goals in the Süper Lig this season (42).

Bursaspor play Mersin Idmanyurdu at home this weekend, Josue is expected to play.
