Frey has been left out of the team this season after falling out with manager Şenol Güneş in the summer.

The club president underlined that he wants to keep hold of the teams key players and strengthen over the summer.

“We want to keep the backbone of the side and add 6-7 more players, this is what our coach Şenol Güneş wants,” he added.

Bursaspor currently have several offers for a number of their key players. Ozan Tufan is on the shopping list of most major clubs in Europe as is youth striker Enes Ünal.

The Green Crocodiles will also try to sign Fernandao on a permanent deal.

The Brazilian striker is currently on loan from Atletico PR but Bursaspor have a buyout clause option.

Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray have both been closely linked with the prolific striker.

Bursaspor will be playing in their brand new 45,000 seater Timsah (Crocodile) Arena next season.
