Bursaspor have set their sights on bringing back their former playmaker Pablo Batalla.
According to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Timur Noyan who hopes to become Bursaspor’s next president has targeted Batalla as the perfect Summer transfer to mark the start of his presidency.
Noyan is reportedly unwilling to part with €2,5 million to sign Josue from Porto.
Josue has been one of the stars of Bursaspor’s season but his loan deal is up at the end of the season.
The Portuguese midfielder rose through the Porto youth ranks before joining Paços Ferreira in 2011 and then returning to the Portuguese giants in 2013 on a four-year deal.
The 24-year-old has seven goals and four assists in all competitions this season.
Bursaspor are currently 5th in the league with 47 points in 29 games.
