‘Buy him food for his dogs, I don’t care’ – Arsenal fans urge Mesut Ozil to stay at the club on social media
Mesut Ozil won his third FA Cup in four years at Arsenal after staring in the side that beat Chelsea 2-1 on Saturday.
The Turkish origin playmaker does however, face an uncertain future at the club.
Ozil has just over 12 months remaining on his contract and has yet to strike a new deal.
The 28-year-old is expected to hold talks with Arsenal over an extension but if an agreement is not reached the Gunners could end up being forced to sell.
Arsenal fans took to social media to air their opinion on whether Ozil should stay or now.
This fan was of the view that the North London outfit should do everything in their power to get Ozil to sign a new deal.
Give Özil 500k a week or whatever it takes him to stay. Buy him a new house. Buy him food for his dogs. I don’t care
