Atletico Madrid star Arda Turan has revealed that he is planning to buy a 180 metre-square flat in London.

“I am planning to buy a place in London, I want to have a place there at all times, you never know when it could come in useful, if I have kids they could study there,” Turan told Hürriyet in an interview.

The Turkish international has been linked with an end of season move to the Premier League, both Chelsea and Arsenal are reported to be interested in the Atleti star.

Turan’s agent Ahmet Bulut recently told Fanatik: “Arda will be 28 by the end of the season and could be transferred to another club, if this were to happen it would be to one of Europe’s top eight sides, otherwise he wouldn’t consider moving as Atleti are already one of the best teams on the continent.”

The Atleti star has a contract with Atleti until 2017 and is valued in the region of £22 million.

The 28-year-old became the first Turkish born player to win the La Liga as Atleti won their first league title since 1996 last season and was part of the same side that reached the Champions League final.
Turan has won every domestic trophy in Spain as well as the Europa League and European Super Cup.
