Chelsea boss Mourinho and Terim are reported to be friends.

Turkey ended drawing 1-1 with the Netherlands at the Amsterdam Arena.

Burak Yılmaz gave Turkey the lead in the first half and the Crescent-Stars almost had the three points in the bag until Huntelaar equalised in the second minute of additional time.

Terim had a number of missing players including Arda Turan and Ömer Toprak.

The experienced manager was forced into a number of changes and played a counter attacking style against the Netherlands.

The Crescent-Stars would have overtaken Netherlands and moved into third place in Group A on seven points had they won.

The Dutch national side remain in third place following the draw, increasing their points tally to seven.

Terim guided Turkey to the semi-finals of their last major competition in the 2008 European Championships.

Turkey will face Luxembourg next in an international friendly on 31 March 2015.
