Kasımpaşa defender Kenneth Omeruo has had an impressive start to his Turkish Super League career after joining on-loan from Chelsea over the summer.
Omeruo has started every game for the Istanbul minnows this season helping his side keep the joint best defensive record in the league having conceded just two goals this season.
However, the 21-year-old defender had music on his mind this week as he wished Nigerian music artist 2face Idibia a happy birthday as well as ‘more blessings and diving health’.
Omeruo seems to know the music star pretty well as he shared a picture of the man he describes as the ‘boss’ in what looks like a sitting room all suited and booted ahead of his 40th birthday celebrations.
It is hard to keep track of everyone who temporarily left the Blues this summer. There are two in Turkey alone with Omeruo and Marko Marin who joined Trabzonspor.
In total 26 players have left the Premier League champions on-loan this summer but Omeruo has been one of the players from the Chelsea exodus to really hit the ground running.
Kasımpaşa take on Eskişehirspor next in the Super League and Omeruo is almost certain to start.
