Chelsea stars John Terry & Hazard to take part in Demba Ba charity event

Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba has invited former teammates Chelsea captain John Terry and winger Eden Hazard to a charity dinner on 25 May 2015.

The charitable event will raise funds for the orphans of Senegal.

Ba sent out an invite for the meal on his Instagram account and asked Chelsea Football Club to ‘please’ make sure the players are available.

The caption read: “Charity dinner with my boys @hazardeden_10 @johnterry.26 @setoo9 and much more for the orphans of senegal. No better day for doing it than on my 30th birthday

Former Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o as well as Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby will also be attending the dinner.

The event will take place in central London, tickets will be priced at £65 and tables can be brought for £500.

Ba joined the Black Eagles on a €6 million move from Chelsea this summer and already has 25 goals and seven assists for Beşiktaş.

The Senegalese international keeps in contact with his former Blues teammates and often refers to Hazard as his brother.

“Hazard is a nice kid, you know, I like him. I’m five years older than him so for me he’s like my little brother, and I just want to take care of him,” Ba said in an interview with the Telegraph.
