Chelsea striker linked with shock move to Turkey

Chelsea’s out-of-favour striker Radamel Falcao has been linked with a shock move to Galatasaray.

The daily sports newspaper Fotomac has stated that Galatasaray’s President is looking to bring a star name to the club to appease fans. The report goes onto state that Falcao is a name they are looking to bring in.

However, considering the Colombia internationals wage and Galatasaray’s precarious financial situation, any move for the Chelsea striker seems unlikely. Galatasaray have also been banned from European competition after breaching FIFA financial fair play regulations.

It seems hard to believe now but once upon a time the Colombian international was one of the top forwards in the world during his time at Porto and Atletico Madrid.

Falcao has struggled at Chelsea scoring just one goal in 11 appearances for the reigning champions this season.
