Chelsea striker agrees to four-year deal with Turkish giants

Chelsea striker Loic Remy has reached an agreement with Besiktas according to reports in Turkey.

Fanatik claim that the Turkish champions have struck a four-year deal with Remy – three years and an option to extend by an additional season.

Per the source, Besiktas have also made Besiktas a €2 million transfer offer.

The Premier League title holders are considering the bid.

Chelsea have no plans for Remy next season and he has just 12 months remaining on his contract.

The 30-year-old is looking for a clean break after a disappointing season on loan at Crystal Palace.

The France international failed to register a single goal and made just eight appearances.

Remy is reported to be keen on a move to Besiktas where he would be able to lock down a regular first-team role and play Champions League football.

The Istanbul giants have won the league title for the past two seasons but are currently lacking depth upfront.

Vincent Aboubakar and Demba Ba have returned to their parent clubs following the end of their loan deals.

Besiktas currently only have one first-team striker in Cenk Tosun.
