Per-the-source, Remy is keen to remain in Englands capitol rather than move abroad to Spain or Turkey. The news comes as a blow to Besiktas who are interested in singing the France international this summer.

According to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Besiktas president Fikret Orman is set to hold talks with Chelsea over the transfer of Remy in London this week.

However, Crystal Palace are understood to be in pole position to sign Remy. According to the Daily Star, Palace have turned their attention toward’s c Remy after failing to land Liverpool’s Christian Benteke.

Per-the-source, Palace are keen to sign the Chelsea striker as manager Alan Pardew wants to improve his attacking options. The report goes onto say that Palace will use the £28 million they received from the sale of Yannick Bolasie to fund the move for Remy.

Remy scored just one goal in 13 Premier league appearances for Chelsea last season.
