The Spanish newspaper Marca has stated that Arda Turan has no intention of leaving Barcelona despite interest from abroad.
The 29-year-old has recently been linked with a mega-money move to the Chinese Super League. Chelsea are also reported to be interested in Turan after new boss Antonio Conte reportedly expressed an interest in him according to TalkSport.
Marca states that Turan has ‘no intention of leaving Catalonia in the short-term.” The report also reveals that Barcelona are yet to receive any offer for their Turkish international midfielder.
Arda has made just seven starts for the Catalan giants since joining however, he was unable to play first team football for the first six months of the season due to the transfer ban imposed on Barcelona.
Barcelona take on Real Betis in the Spanish league this weekend as they look to preserve their lead at the top of the table. The La Liga giants are level on points with Atletico Madrid but are ahead on goal difference.
