Chelsea team news: Antonio Conte faces injury crisis ahead of Arsenal clash
Chelsea come into this weekends Community Shield clash with several of key players missing.
The Blues will be looking to get revenge for their FA Cup final defeat at the hands of Arsenal last season. Antonio Conte’s side did however record a 3-0 win over Arsenal during a pre-season friendly in Beijing.
Chelsea won the Premier League last season by a comfortable margin. The Blues have strengthened their squad by signing Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger and Alvaro Morata.
However, last season’s top scorer Diego Costa misses the weekend clash following a dispute with Conte. The Spain international is expected to leave the club this summer.
According to the Standard, Eden Hazard will miss Sunday’s encounter as he continues his recovery from an ankle operation.

Pedro is a doubt after suffering a facial injury while Bakayoko may miss out with a knee injury. The French defensive midfielder’s absence could make Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil’s job a little easier this weekend.
The Community Shield will be played on Sunday at Wembley stadium, kick-off is scheduled for 14:00 (GMT).
