Chelsea v Liverpool – Confirmed starting line-up's – Emre Can to make his 38th apperance

Chelsea v Liverpool:

Emre Can will make his 38th appearance for Liverpool this season as The Reds take on Chelsea in the Premier League today.

Brendan Rodgers has side out in a 4-3-3 formation with Can starting alongside Skrtel, Lovren and Johnson in defence.

Liverpool are in need of a win if their are to cling onto faint hopes of finishing in the top four. The Red’s are currently in 5th place, seven points (and a game in hand) behind Manchester United who sit in 4th spot.

Can was praised on the official club website for his performance in the 2-1 win over QPR last weekend.

The 21-year-old was described as being ‘dominant’ against QPR and a video of his performance was also shared on the page.
