Chelsea vs Man City confirmed line-ups: Guardiola makes changes to starting XI after double injury blow

Chelsea host an in-form Manchester City tonight in the Premier League as they look to record back-to-back wins.

The clash takes place at Stamford Bridge while kick-off is scheduled for 17:30 (GMT).

City boss Pep Guardiola comes into today’s encounter with a major injury headache. £52 million summer signing Benjamin Mendy has been ruled out with a long-term injury knee injury. Meanwhile Star striker Kun Aguero is also out for up to eight weeks after being involved in a car accident in Amsterdam.

Guardiola has welcome back Gundogan to the squad. The midfielder of Turkish origin made an appearance in City’s 2-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League mid-week.

Chelsea meanwhile are without their star defender David Luiz who is serving a suspension.
