Cristian Baroni scores his first goal for Corinthians

The former Fenerbahce midfielder Cristian Baroni has scoreed his first goal for Corinthians.

The 31-year-old scored in the 60th minute of his sides 1-1 draw with Ituano. Baroni played the full 90 minutes of the game.

The Brazilian midfielder completed his move to the Brazilian Serie A side Corinthians on a free transfer last month on a €1.5 million per season deal.

Baroni joined Fenerbahce from Corinthians back in July 2008 for €5 million.

The defensive midfielder scored five goals and made four assists in 22 appearances for Fenerbahce in all competitions last season.

Baroni’s contract with the Istanbul club ran out in June 2014.

Fenerbahce take on Akhisar tonight in the Turkish Super Lig and have the chance to return to the top of the table.
